Nicholas Ferro, LICSW
Nick Ferro is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Providence, Rhode Island. He sees adolescents, and adults. He provides treatment for anxiety disorders, depression, college mental health, stress management, and grief. He enjoys helping people who are navigating major life transitions and other challenges.
Nick uses an evidence-based approach that involves a thorough clinical assessment so that both the client and therapist understand the problem and the best course of treatment. He has expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. He also has training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Nick’s therapeutic approach is goal-oriented and problem-solving, and can be brief therapy (8-16 sessions) or much longer if necessary.
Nick focuses on the thoughts, emotions and behaviors that are behind people’s difficulties. He helps clients develop skills to cope with emotional distress, overcome anxiety, and facilitate personal growth. He has a special interest in working with Military Veterans.
Kenneth Parks, LICSW
Ken Parks a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the state of Rhode Island. He provides psychotherapy for high school and college-aged students and adults with a focus on treatment for depression, anger, anxiety, life stressors, and substance abuse.
Ken enjoys working with athletes on the connection between mental wellness and sports performance. His approach incorporates more than 15 years of experience in addressing a variety of client needs including, but not limited to, mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, and anger management. He helps clients meet their goals in therapy using an approach that is unconditionally supportive, non-judgemental, and safe. His practice philosophy is rooted in the belief that everyone has the potential for growth if they have the right tools and support.
Madison Conley, LMHC-A
Maddy is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate with 3 years of experience
working in both clinical and educational settings. Maddy has a M.Ed in School and
Mental Health Counseling from Providence College, and a C.A.G.S in Clinical Mental
Health Counseling from Rhode Island College. Maddy specializes in working with adolescents, young adults and adults. Maddy uses several different therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mind-Body interventions/ Maddy offers Yalom-style group therapy sessions for anxiety, depression, and stress management.
Jessica Brickle, LCSW
Jessica Brickle is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience as a mental health clinician in numerous roles with ages 8-70. She has a specialization in psychological testing and treatment for children and adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, peer pressure, trauma and body-image issues. She utilizes a holistic approach to psychotherapy that incorporates a variety of techniques and interventions to meet the individual needs of her clients. She has experience and training in providing cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and narrative therapy.
If you are a dog-lover, Jessica brings her service dog to her sessions with clients. Reign is an amazing German Shepherd dog who loves meeting new people.
